What is a Giglee

The Giclee process is a revolutionary new printing technology using specialist pigment coated papers and canvas, with high resolution inkjet technology and exceptional lightfast inks. The inks have a wide colour range for faithful reproduction of an original and give extreme longevity up to and beyond 70 years. The combination of the materials used and the technology employed, creates incredibly detailed prints which are far superior to traditional lithograph prints.

Andrew works directly with master printmakers throughout the process, from the initial scanning of his original artwork, through to checking proofs, and seeing the finished Giclees being printed. This allows him to produce beautiful prints, astonishingly true to the original paintings. Andrew’s stunning images are available in both paper and canvas editions, both of which are strictly limited. The canvas editions are larger and hand-varnished, to replicate the look and feel of the original.
